Mission Moon Base!

In Mission Moon Base! students take on the role of NASA mission planner. Using selected NASA resources and Google Moon, students examine the lunar surface and select an appropriate landing site for their Moon mission.
Students learn how to recognize lunar features. They analyze lunar geology using geologic and topographic maps as well as the Google Moon surface imagery. They choose their landing site based on realistic mission goals and justify their mission plan with sound scientific data and reasoning.
